DTD - Buena Vista Palace special rate for fall

Travelzoo is offering a special rate for this hotel with fall dates. Need to book by 7/27/12.

You do have to sign up for travelzoo, but it is free and only requires email address & name.

If you look into this, I have a question about the tax and resort fees section of the rate confirmation. It says the resort fee would be only half of the 16.00 normal rate, but the tax rate is coming up at around 30%. I'm hoping someone else can explain this for me.

The full amount of the resort fee (16.95 per day) is being included in the tax amount.

The booking agent I spoke with said the discounted rate of 8.00 per night will be adjusted upon checkin.

The also had special rates including breakfast for 2.

Waterview room for 75.00/night. Disney view for 89.00/night. Not a bad rate.
