DTD After Hours

Maybe someone has already done this, but I am wondering if DTD is off-limits after it closes for the night. If I wanted to walk or jog from SSR or OKW through DTD before it opens for the day, is that allowed?

I'm pretty sure the whole area is open. They just lock the storefronts.

P.I. doesn't get out until about 2:00 am and those patrons would have to exit through DD to get to transportation.

We've been there in the morning before the stores opened and the areas were open to walk through.

Only P.I. is gated, and that area would definitely be closed.

We often go for an early morning walk from OKW thru DD. Even though nothing is open yet, there is a lot of activity with deliveries, maintenance and security in the area - usually it's quite a busy place.

It's a great place to jog and you won't be challenged by anyone. It's about 4 miles from OKW thru DD and back by way of SSR.

This was by far my favorite part of staying at SSR last December.

Most mornings I took early morning jogs around the lake and thru DTD. Like Doc said, there's lots of activity and you get to see DTD wakeup. We stayed in Congress Park, so I would start there, thru the Marketplace, past Cirque, thru the golf course and the early morning golfers, over the bridge and end at the Spa and Fitness Center with weights.

Next time, Im bringing my swimsuit so I can enjoy the spa in the ladies locker room.

My husband and I have both run/walked through DTD early in the AM when the crew are working on the flowerbeds, doing various maintenance, etc. Once I even got through PI at about 7AM.
