I am trying to figure out stocking stuffers for Christmas for DS10 & 6. DS10 i thought about and iTunes card for his Ipod. and maybe some Disney Dollars for our August trip. But my dilema is where and how do i get Disney Dollars and trading pins. Is there a sight where i can buy park merchandise? I thought about getting him a shirt and pins. I some how lost our shirts :guilty: ?? I am not sure where they went? Security or i left them at the time share but when we got home they didnt make it with us.

You can get Disney dollars at the Disney Store, just ask a person at the register.

I've read about people buying pins on eBay but I think there are different kinds or something, and you can only trade a certain kind at Disney... I haven't figured all that out yet but would also like to know so I can buy my ds some pins.

The CM's at WDW all wear pins and they all have different colored lanyards that they put them on. One color is for anyone to trade from and another color is only for children to trade from and I of course cannot remember the colors.

You can get them on ebay pretty reasonable, and on disneyshopping.com

As far as other stocking stuffers..my DD's always get underwear and socks in theirs along with other cute little things...

I know that some people get their trading pins from ebay, but if you're not familiar with which pins can be traded, it would be safer to get them from disneyshopping.com. There's no question that those can be traded in the parks. Watch for sales on sets of pins on disneyshopping.com and also for coupon codes (posted here or on Mousesavers--or you can get them directly if you are signed up for their emails) to bring the prices of the pins down. Also, they have free shipping on pins on Mondays.

The Disney Store also sells pins that can be traded.

Hi Jordansmomma! I'm originally from Richland, WA.

Personally, I would probably stay away from putting stuff for an August trip in the kids' stockings in Dec.

I tend to put one full-size candy bar in my kids' stockings in lieu of lots of little candy. Also, a box of Cracker Jacks and a tin of Altoids (both my kids love Altoids). I usually put in a $5 or $10 bill too.

This year, my DS5 is also getting a Bop Bag (inflatable thing you hit), a computer game (Hot Wheels), a stuffed dolphin, a new toy car, Mr. Potato Head parts (outer space), and the glow-in-the-dark stars for the ceiling. Hopefully, it will all fit.

For an older child, I'd probably go with a computer/game system game, wallet, slippers, $10 gift certificates (Itunes, bookstore, etc.), new gloves, book, candy... that kind of thing.

Hi Ethansmom ~ I reside in Moses Lake. It is funny that you are from Richland, this morning on the radio with Bob & Tom, (i am not sure where they are) but they love the Richland Bombers, they find it hysterical that a high school has a mushroom cloud as their school mascot. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ok, well I was going to only get Disney dollars for their stocking for the August trip. Other than that for DS10 i am at a loss. I have spent well over my allotment for him for Christmas already, he got a PSP and several games, however, i got 6 games at Hastings for 37.77, yep a great deal :thumbsup2
they were all mark downs, because there is no way that i was spending 289 on the PSP bundle and 260 on games.
But i thought about iTunes card, movie passes, I try so hard to stay away from candy, in March he just may be getting braces, with any luck they will wait another year.
Oh and the nearest Disney Store is in the Seattle area, the pass was closed yesterday for snow and accidents so i dont see myself going on the other side of the mountains anytime soon. Any where else you can get disney dollars?

Not Disney dollars but close and spend just the same. Go to disneyshopping.com and get a gift card. there is a 25.00 dollar min but no shipping charges.
