I printed this out and have it in my camera bag, I haven't been stoped yet but it's good to read this and know our rights.

that is a very good article..and something i was thinking along the lines of what to do when confronted. it mentions being courteous and defusing the situation...truthfully we have a number of police in our family and the word from them( and some other officers as well) is even if you are within your rights sometimes it's best just to take your leave...if you are involved in a situation with a power hungry officer you are probably going to be worse off if you fight with him..same as if you are involved in a traffic stop, the best way to get a ticket is to argue, the best way to avoid it is apologize.
you can always take it up later when emotions aren't so hot with someone who really has the power to do something about changing it which the officer doesn't have. ie call who ever owns the property, ask and then you can say that next time you go to take the photo if stopped. or better yet get it in writing
