DSiXL deals?

My son's nintendo ds is on its last legs. Thinking of getting him the new one out, but didn't know if there were any great offers out there. I don't think we could trade his in at gamestop, as the controls don't work that well.

What's the difference between a regular DSi and a DSi XL?

The difference between the DSi and DSi XL is basically just the screen size. It's supposed to be 93% bigger. I don't think there's much else different other than that.

the dsi XL has two cameras, better sound, and a few other bells and whistles. If I had a dsi, I would not upgrade. But DS's ds lite is about worn out, so time to get a new one. So rather than buy the old model, will get the new one. Got the trade in deal at gamestop. Probably about the best we would do.

Are people having luck if they trade in a DS Lite which has some wear and tear? DD's works just fine, but one of the hinges is iffy.

We tried to trade in my son's DS lite. Everything worked on it, but there is a small crack in the lower right hand corner of the bottom half. Because of this, they wouldn't allow a trade in.

There was a crack in the hinge on DS's ds lite. At first, the one clerk wasn't going to take it. But another one came up and said if it still works and reads games, it's Ok. So they took it, full trade value.
