DS Tall Enough to Ride...But

I only worry about the rides that if they fall out of they will do major bodily harm and you can't fall out of star tours! My son has been riding it since he was barely tall enough and loves it and he is a very small skinny kid. Personally I don't find it that rough, I mean you are sitting in a chair with a seat belt in a closed room. I think the barnstormer is much more jarring. This trip he just hit 48 inches and couldn't wait to ride RRC I was a bit apprehensive because he is 48 inches but only weighs 40 pounds but once he got the ok from the CM there was no stopping him, in fact he went on with my DD! Loved it didn't fall out and went on many more times.

You need to judge each kid individually. My 10 y/o (small for her age) will ride ANYTHING. The 9 y/o (average size) will ride anything @ WDW, but will not ride the bigger coasters @ Six Flags. The 8 y/o (big for her age) will ride most rides, but will not go near a coaster. This will be 1st WDW trip, so I hope I can persuade her onto WDW coasters! :teeth: 6 y/o boy (big for his age) is about the same in riding style as the 8 y/o. 6 y/o girl (small) is terrified of EVERYTHING and will ride only carousel and very, very mild kiddie rides (it will be a challenge! ;) ) and 2 y/o (tiny) is insane. Will cry to get on everything, even though she never meets height requirements!
