Nathan is now a little over 6 months old and I think he is growing up too fast.

When I left for work this morning I looked over at him in his exersauser and it just hit me how much he looks like a little boy now rather than a baby. I know he is still a baby (heck he will always be a baby to me) but for some reason he just looked so much older to me this morning. :(

He has come a LONG way from that under 5 pound baby we brought home from the hospital..... :)

Becka,
Children do have that nasty habit of growing up toooooo fast, don't they?:(
It does seem like just yesterday that we were all "pacing" here on the DIS, waiting for your DH to let us know if it was a boy or a girl!!

All I can say to you is to treasure all those drooling smiles, take a few extra moments each day to snuggle Nathan close to you and take a deep breath of that sweet baby smell in his neck!

My dd had to go to the dr the other day. She's gained exactly 60 pounds in the 9 years since I had her. She'll still be my little butterball 8 pounder though.:)

They do grow up too fast. Savor all the moments you can with little Nathan.:)

They do grow up so fast! But when I look into DS(19)'s eyes I still see a very little boy! And they change sooooo much in that first year.

Enjoy every moment and make some memories... even when your tired and frazzled.

Can you tell I am suffering from first one out of the nest syndrome?? DD(15) is NEVER leaving home!

Our babies grow up so fast....we need to see a photo, Becka

If you're thinking this now, Becka, oh, man, you are going to be in trouble in a couple of years.

Other mothers--know what I miss most from my son's toddler years? All the cute ways he said things before he learned to speak correctly.

Examples:

Mony = Mommy (couldn't get that second M sound in for a while)
rainbrella = umbrella
Piggie, then Pig-a-lit = Piglet
jackie = jacket
Mick-dy Mouse = Mickey Mouse

I don't know about you guys, but I adored my child's "baby" talk.

{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} They grow up so very very fast!
