yesterday!:( He is doing well, poor baby only 21 months old. It was a hard day but DS did great. DS had repairs done on both sides. Doctor says he should be back to normal within 2-3 weeks.

I am work now but MIL is with him. I am so lucky to have a great MIL/grandma. She spoils the whole family when she comes.

Sending you a great big hug and you and your family PD. Sure hope the recovery is quick and as pain free as possible.

Bless his heart. I'm so glad he tolerated the surgery well. Little ones seem to heal quickly, I hope your son is no exception to that.

You are lucky to have such a wonderful grandma available to help with your son.

{{{HUGS}}} sweetie and {{{HUGS}}} for your son too. I hope he's 100% better very soon.

I am glad to hear that he is doing so well. I do believe the younger they are the better they handle it. Our DS had double repairs at 6 weeks and again at 5 years old. The first one was much better.

We will have him in our prayers for a quick recovery.

Blessings,
Tammy

They definitely handle it better when they're young. I had hernia surgery at 21 years old, but afterwards I acted like a 21-month old! I was completetly useless for a week.

Did this just come up on an exam or did you know about this for awhile? Thank goodness for your MIL, next best thing for DS if your not there:D

DS had it at 3 months and DH last year! DS was the MUCH better patient!;)
I hope he has as quick a recovery as my DS did.

Hugs to your son - my son also has had 2 hernia surgeries - at 2yrs and 7 yrs. He is 14 now and still has his "surgery boys" - the stuffed animals that I brought him in the hospital!!

Best of luck for a speedy recovery!

Paula

Awwwwwww, poor little guy!

I had hernia surgery in December and the first few days were just awful! I'm glad he's doing well. :)

Awww. Very gentle {{{Hugs}}} for him. :)

Awwww, the little guy. Hope he feels better real soon, he needs to be ready for that WDW trip. :)

Bless his heart......he'll be bouncing around in no time! Kids are amazing!!!!!!!!
