Last night we were at Lowe's buying a new xmas tree. DS7 wasn't really listening to us. DH threatened to call Santa. I pulled my phone out for effect. DS was begging no no no. Then my phone rings. Kid flipped out. He was crying and screaming and tried to wrestle the phone out of my hand. DH managed to talk him down from the ledge. Turns out it was my sister. The kid is scared straight now.

:lmao: I about fell out of my chair laughing on that one!!! What perfect timing!

Can your sister call my house on Tuesday around 8:30 am EST? That is the time I get DD ready for preschool and she puts me though he%$! :rotfl2:

We've been using that technique with a boy in my preschool class, with his mom's permission and blessing. Whenever he refuses to listen or follow directions we say, "That's it! I'm calling Santa!" One of the aides always has her cell phone with her so she can whip it out on the playground or wherever we happen to be. He immediately says, "Oh no my robot" which is what he wants for Christmas. Then, we have instant compliance!

Is nothing sacred anymore?:rotfl:

It's better than what my mom used to do to me which was to say "Jesus is watching you, and he's very disappointed".

It's amazing I turned out as normal as I am :).
