DS (10) always plans adventures with my dad to take him fishing. Neither DH or I fish, but my dad (73) loves to fish/hunt and he and my son have a blast every Summer.
My dad picked DS up this morning to take him fishing because high tide was expected for mid/late morning. They packed up snacks and lunch and off they went.
DS called me soooooooooo excited that he caught something this year. Because of the inch limitation they had to throw it back (thank god).
So nice to be able to enjoy spending time with the grandparents.
DS will have those memories for a lifetime.
