Ds carrying case and game storage?

My boys are getting a ds for the holidays. I got them the ds backpack b/c I thought it would be good for when we travel and for when we go to appointments. They'd just grab their backpacks and off we'd go.

Should I get a separate case to hold the games? I haven't opened any so I don't know what they look like. Is it worth the $$ to have the backpack and something else?

The games are tiny, so we usually only take 1 or 2 when we are out and about.

The best thing we got for these, however, is the Nerf case.....it encases the DS in nerf foam and really protects it....you know it will eventually be dropped, and this case really helps keep it protected.
