DS asked when can we go back to the Wilderness Lodge!

Stayed there Oct 01. Originally booked for 6nights but on the 6th day we extended another 3 nights. Bought into DVC Nov 01. Using points for our MAGICal cruise in 2wks.

Last night DS10.5 asked me when can we go back to the Wilderness Lodge! Didnt mention the parks, just asked about the lodge. Asked him if he wants to go back because of the pool - he said it's the lodge himself he wants to see again. Ahh at least 1 of my boys knows why his mom is a Disney/DVC addict. Guess we bought at the right place.

BTW, Im booking in a few days for next Oct.

Your son is smart! WL/VWL are truly a spectacular, must see, e-ticket attraction. For the folks who don't stay at VWL, I highly recommend going there to walk around and look. Pictures do not do this place justice; they actually make VWL look 'less desirable'. The VWL atrium is fantastic, and the quite pool is awesome. I can't say enough about the place. Probably because of the pictures, VWL is DVC's best kept secret.

Try once to do a trip in December or after Thankgiving - this resort is pretty at any time - but a Christmas - words can describe how lovely it is - you just have to see it!

Now, didn't your DH have some second thoughts about DVC? I seem to recall you posting that a while back.

So does your son's passion help you make the point about the wisdom of DVC?? Hope so!


If I'm remembering wrong about DH's misgivings...sorry! Chalk it up to old age!

Nope Granny - your mind is still very much intact. Thats part of the reason Im glad at least DS wants to go back to the WL. If I can only change DH. But DS wants to go back regardless of whether DH comes with us or not.
