DS and DD?

Been lurking around here and notice that people refer to their kids as either DS or DD. I know the last letter means son or daughter, but what's the first D mean? Disney?

Although my family are very dear to me, and the kids are little darlings, for me I think of it as Disney: DH, DS, DD. Only because we are huge Disney fans.

Me too I always thought it meant Disney, again because we are big Disney fans too!

Well, Disney is cute, but actually the "D" stands for "Dear". As in, "Dear Husband"..."DH".....or "Dear Daughter"....."DD"......or it could stand for "Dumb Husband", depending on your mood!

In the case of my little bro and I, it probly means dorkey sons.
