Are you allowed to roast marshmallows in the Fire Pit at AKL?

Ummm...unless something has changed, I think no? When we were there a couple of years ago it was more of a centerpiece for STORYTELLING, not for marshmallow roasting.

Why not take your DS over to the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground for Chip and Dale's Campfire Sing Along? You can roast marshmallows there and even make smores...MMMmmm Good. That is on our "to do list." DS just saw the picture of the fire pit and asked about the marshmallows, so I did the logical thing and passed his question on to the great people of the DIS.
Anyway, we plan on taking my parents over to Fort Wildernes for the campfire and to check out the place where we stayed back in 1972. This will be their first trip back since then.
