Well, I just got back from the dry cleaners. Last week I dropped off pretty much all of my good winter sweaters (total of 4 - 3 of them being new), a pair of dress pants (can't remember which ones though) and one of my husband's shirts.
The only thing the woman came out of the back with was the shirt. They cannot find the rest of my dry cleaning order!
I told her I had to leave to pick up my kids but said call me when you find everything.
My question is - what if they can't find everything? I don't have receipts and I'm not even 100% sure what I dropped off - I know the 3 new sweaters but can't remember which pants and what the other sweater was. Plus, I need these for work next week - it's getting cold here and blouses just aren't cutting it. This week I wore mostly jeans as my boss was not in.
Anyway, if anyone has any experience with this, please give me some advice. They have really always been very nice to me, but I can't afford to just walk away from my entire work wardrobe (well, 2/3rds of it). TIA
And yes, I do recall the Seinfeld episode and do not believe the owner's wife is wearing my sweaters, but I guess you never do know for sure.
