Drupal for Website design?

Does anyone us drupal for website building? My husband does the web designing but he has been teaching me and letting me try it out using drupal. I have a site for my club that needs a link to a PDF and I cannot figure it out anywhere. Everything I read says I need to upload the files to drupal but I cannot figure that part out..I know I am missing something stupid but hubby wont be home all day and I would like to get this up...

Depends what you want your website to do. Me, I like Drupal, although I have hardly ever used it. I now use Wordpress, Vanilla and phpBB for my sites (a blog and various forums) because I don't need anything more.

It a horse show website. I would like to be able to put the horse show forms ( PDFs) on it so people can come and download what they need
