Thank you all- we were so excited when we opened them and went through the slideshow!
To answer a few questions:
Disney Photographic Services: As some of you may know, I was considering backing out of our contract... luckily, we had just fallen inside our 30 day window. I ended up speaking with some of the upper levels responsible for the photogaphic services. At that point, I was promised that Joe would stay on our wedding and not be transferred to another event. I couldn't have higher praises to sing for Joe or his assistant, Andrea. Both of them were fantastic. We loved spending time with them... and intend to catch up with Joe and play a round of golf the next time we are down. I am so glad that we were "stuck" with Disney. The end results were everything we wanted.
Directions: Yes, we did write out a careful list of must-take shots. I composed it over a number of months. Most of the photos I found that I liked, I saved to a Word Document. The Knotties profiles are wonderful sources of information. At the same time, I trusted Joe and Andrea- they see the wirld differently. The ones I insisted on- the butt-grab shot, the obligatory Knottie shot under the veil, and the red couch. Joe knew how important the photos were to me and did everything in his power to make sure he met our expectation and got the shot.
Diane (our EM): Is our Fairy Godmother. I couldn't imagine everything going so wonderfully without her. She is very talented at what she does. She is an honest source of information- she will tell you like it is, no fuss, no frills.
What a magical day for you... I can't wait for our wedding... (but I can...)
