Drugstores near DLR

We are staying at GCH in Sept. (first trip - yeah!) Are there any drugstores or any other type of store nearby where we could purchase essentials? We will not have a car.

There is a Walgreens and a Target down the road a piece but I wouldnt say either one is within walking distance. Without a car you are limited. Your hotel will have store as do all of the hotels that are out the main gate across the street along Harbor Blvd. I dont know about the prices in the GCH but the other stores arent outrageous considering.

The Walgreens and Target are in the same plaza on the corner of Chapman and S. Harbor. It is about a $12 taxi ride when we did that 2 years ago from GCH to the Hyatt hotel which is on the adjacent corner of Chapman and S. Harbor. Maybe you can take the ART? As the previous poster said, it is not walking distance. The GCH has a sundries shop that sells some medications, but definitely limited in its offering.
