Dropping off rental car or using Uber during Covid testing-

We have always driving to Port Canaveral the night before. January 2 we will be flying into Orlando/Sanford for our next day cruise. How does it work with Covid testing dropping off a rental car at the terminal or using Uber to arrive at the terminal from a hotel?

How does it work with Covid testing dropping off a rental car at the terminal

The rental car returns aren't actually at the terminal. You drop the rental at the nearby agency and they shuttle you to the terminal. The shuttle drops you off (with luggage) and you go through testing. I suspect what may not be allowed is 1 person drops off passengers + luggage then that person return the rental and rejoins the family at the terminal, because I believe your party must stay together once you arrive.

Hopefully someone has used an Uber and can confirm, but I suspect that hasn't really changed. Uber pulls up to the drop-off location and the passengers go for testing. Similar to the car rental shuttles as well as hotel shuttles and off-site parking shuttles and anyone else getting a ride to the port.
