Dropping child off at gate. How do I do it?

My 12-yr-old niece has to come back from WDW a day earlier than the rest of us. How do I get past security without a ticket so that I can take her to the gate?

I think she will have to be booked as an unacompanied minor, and that will allow you to bring her to the gate, and wait until the plane has left the ground.

Go to the ticket counter and they will give you a pass to get to the gate with her.

Make sure she is registered as an unaccompanied minor...they will give you a pass to get through secruity. If she isn't listed as an unaccompanied minor you will have trouble doing this so make sure. Also there is a fee to be listed as one...

She's registered as an unaccompanied minor and I have to pay $75 because she is making a plane change in Dallas.

Yes, I did exactly the same thing with two nieces last year at Orlando. Just leave enough time for Orlando security.
They give you a special pass when you check the bags in (you have to show your ID) you go through security with them (so watch what you carry) and you personally hand her over to the person at the gate. Then yes, you wait until the plane takes off, just in case there is a last minute delay or change.
