We are seriously considering dumping cable. With internet, our bill is $167 a month. Since we have plasma, we can get the local channels, right? That's all we watch anyway. We will need to get a new internet service provider but that's no big deal. Or maybe we can keep TWC, I'm not sure.
Those who have done this, how painful was it? How many channels do you pick up now? Are you happy you made the decision?

But I can learn to live without it with all the money we will save. We are in the middle of a divorce right now, and I'm trying to cut down on everything possible.
) According to DH Comcast lots a TON of customers last quarter so apparently we are not the only ones who fled from cable
Not counting TWC, CNN and the music channels we get about 15 total channels. It also means we don't have to deal with an antenna or worrying if the weather conditions will interfere.
