Dropped my Razr phone in the toilet!!!!!!!!!

I went through 3 phones in 2 months due to dropping it in the water. Let me just say that $6.00 dollars a month is well worth it, to keep from paying the cost of a phone at COST! You might not ever need it, but the first time you use it, it's well worth it!!!

Ex: Too replace one of my current phones would go like this

The phone cost me $399.00
With insurance it wouldn't cost me anything.
With out insurance I would have to pay the cost of the phone which would be $799.00.

So the $6.00 a month is well worth it.

But Verizon does have a limit on how many times you can file a claim. My mother went through several phones in a very short time. Her insurance was cancelled.

The little white dot had already turned colors. As soon as Verizon saw that they said there was nothing they could do for me. They did give me 20% off of my new phone so I only paid 175.00 for it.

Also try putting it in a bowl of uncooked rice while it dries. The rice will draw more moisture out of it.

This has worked for me too. Dropped my phone in the water while getting a pedicure at the spa. Put it in a ziplock with rice, two days later it powered up and was fine.
