Just borrowing your ears! Baby Sam has cried on and off all day today and it's wearing me down> I guess I'm just tired as he has had a bad couple of nights and I haven't had much sleep. Thanks for listening. x

 I feel for you, I'm exactly the same, my baby (almost 5 months) has had a bad couple of days, I think she's in for a bit of a cold. She hasn't been great at sleeping at nights since I stopped swaddling her 6 weeks ago, so I am absolutely exhausted (especially with another little girl who is 20 months) it's really tough, I hope you manage to get some rest soon, and that Sam feels better. :)

I remember that constant crying coupled with sleep deprivation -.

It does pass, but it seems like it never will at the time.

Sending another hug

Thanks for that! It's just all so over-whelming sometimes isn't it. x

Thanks Libby, just feeling sorry for myself! x

 Big hugs Verity, most of us have been there, and at the time it feels like it goes on forever, then one day you look up and they're 19 and 17 and you wonder where the time has gone ::yes::

 Take care honey

I remember it well. This will soon be over and don't listen to anyone who tells you that their baby slept through the night from a few days old :rotfl: I hated hearing that from other mums!;)

You have my sympathy, I remember those days and they feel like they last forever, they won't and you will be able to look back and laugh at all the stupid things you did while you were sleep deprived. My oldest ds went to school many times with his pj's under his school clothes :rotfl2:

my Sam was a terrible sleeper, but he's 17 now and could sleep until noon if I let him
If you get the opportunity to sleep if he catches some sleep during the day then you must too. The housework etc can wait, you need your sleep to function. Hope you both get some deep shut-eye soon x

Thanks everyone. I know there are far worse things in the world (wish I didn't at the moment!:sad1:), we got a much better night's sleep thank goodness and things always seem better after more than 4 hours sleep ;) . I maybe back again to whinge again very soon :lmao:, thanks for your support. x
