Drop Off Question

When we sail on October 16th our DD who is in College at UCF will be dropping us off at the Terminal. Does anyone know how this will be handled???? I know how they check I's and Tickets several times as your heading in and I am now wondering where and how we will be dropped at the terminal, I mean will they let us drive up and drop our luggage and then switch drivers so she can just head out and back to UCF????

And then how about pick up when we get back???? We have a room booked near the port the day we get home and she WAS going to pick us up at the terminal also, I am now wondering if it would be wiser to get a cab to the hotel and just have her meet us at the hotel???? It seems to me that they would have something set up for drop off and pick up as I am sure not everyone drives or takes busses.

I am considering calling ahead also and getting their take on all of this so I have some idea of how this will work.

There is a drop off area in front of the port (just like the airport). It is curbside drop off with the porters to take your luggage. So dropping off is not an issue. The only time I had someone pick me up they were late and we were already out front (in the drop off area) so they were able to come right back were they left us without any problem.

Ok so not to sound too stupid here....is the drop off area your talking about outside the gate you go through to get to where you would drop off your luggage befroe you head to the parking lot???? Do they drop you off outside that gate and check your luggage and walk through the gate??? I know I sound pretty stupid here and I am sorry just trying to get a mental picture of where it might be......Thanks

Your DD may be able to drive you directly up to the terminal to drop you off. However, if they don't allow that, you would be directed in to the Parking Lot drop off area. The first security check point you encounter will point you in the right direction.

The parking lot drop off is not that far, so there should be no problems either way.

Thanks for the Terminal Map I have been on dave's Site before but never looked at the map I just printed it out to add to the rest of my paperwork that I am taking along.....Thanks again for your help.....
