Well, all women are real women. However it sure does look offensive to those of us who are not vapid Barbie dolls. (No, I'm saying saying that all thin people are vapid, LOL!)
It's pretty annoying that shows like this act like the worst thing you possibly be in life is something other than a size 2. That being said, I'm going to watch the premier, only because I'm curious about how they handle it. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I'm going to assume/hope there is a moral to the story. I just can't figure out how they can make and entire series out of it.
When I say real women I mean people who are in the real world. Everyday women not models be they fat, thin or in between. I am turned off by the promo and I guess my feeling is even if the promo is not indicative it certainly is offensive.
Just watched the promo. Different twist on a plot that has been in a LOT of movies. In the end the perky little model will find out its not all about the looks, and size--OK??
I don't really find it appalling?? I figure if a size 4 woke up in my size 18 body, they would be a bit miffed
I won't watch it tonight because I have other plans, and it's not worth taking up DVR space. But if I'm looking for something to watch, and it's on, I will check it out.
