Im looking for what do people take after getting off I-15 is there a faster or better way to disneyland?

From I-15 South,
take 210 West to the
57 South.
Exit Ball Rd and head west (turn right) and go about 2 miles.
You'll run into the DLR area at Harbor and Ball.

navagation has me going on 60 after I 15 but someone said to take 91 so I wanted to know what all of you guys take?

I think on the way there the GPS took us to the 60 and then the 57, getting off at Katella. On the way back, my husband got confused by the GPS telling him to exit right, but keep left and missed the 57 LOL So the GPS took us the way of 91 and at 6:30 on a Saturday night the traffic was horrible- took us a lot longer to get home than it took to get there.

oc tony has the best route for you - you save time and traffic by taking the I-210 to the I-57. Hubbie drives the route daily and you can take all 4 westbound freeways (210, 10, 60, and 91) but the 210 is the newest and usually least crowded.

Yep, I've driven all the east-west routes many times too, and the 210 is better than the 10, 60, or 91. They'll all get you to the 57, but the 210 is newer and less congested. :thumbsup2 Have a good drive.

thanks for the info! I'm taking notes for our trip. :cool1:

Good luck driving. Will you post your driving experience when you get back?? We are driving from Las Vegas on Easter and I would love to know which route you took and how traffic was.

:thanks:

I think I will try the 210 guess we will decide when we get there lol.

The biggest thing is to get through vegas before that race ends sunday what a mess.

ok, I've been map-questing our trip, and changing the route to get us on 210. however, each time I get 210 it adds more steps and I want to make sure it's right. basically, if we merge to 57 from 60, that's the only step. if we merge from 210 to 57, these are the steps:

- Merge onto CA-57 S via EXIT 45 toward SANTA ANA.
- Take the SUNSET CROSSING RD exit, EXIT 18, toward CA-60 E.
- Turn LEFT onto SUNSET CROSSING RD.
- Turn RIGHT onto N DIAMOND BAR BLVD.
- Turn RIGHT onto PATHFINDER RD.
- Merge onto CA-57 S via the ramp on the LEFT toward SANTA ANA.

does this seem correct, or is MapQuest having problems? I've had it take me to a dead-end before, telling me I could drive straight through to my location - so I know it might have some bugs in it.

thanks!!

This is weird. If you go from the 210 to the 57 South, you should not be getting on and off the freeway. Mapquest is giving you some crazy directions. :confused3 Stay on the 57 South and exit at Ball Rd.

The 57 and 60 freeways do merge for a few miles, but you never actually get off the freeway. Just keep following the signs that direct you into the lanes for the 57 South and you'll be fine. :thumbsup2

Seems like you guys know the perfect directions. Now, how about the reverse trip? We will be driving from DL to Vegas. We have awful timing, driving the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. Along with directions, what time would be good to drive?we figured leaving the GCH around 11. Does this sound right? We are in no hurry to get to Vegas, just looking for the least traffic.

We ended up driving 91 had no problems at all getting there.

On the way back we took 91 but my fault we left during rush hour what a nightmare lol but we finally made it out of there.

Going to drive it in june also I may go with what tony says and do the 210 this time.

Well, Friday of Memorial Day weekend is going to be busy, but more in the afternoon when people are getting off of work. If you leave at 11am, your traffic shouldn't be that bad (hope I didn't just jinx it).

I would still stick with this route:
57 north to the
210 east to the
15 north.

I would stay away from the 91. It's also a good idea to check the internet or radio for traffic info just in case. Have a good drive. :)

thank you!! I thought it seemed weird since none of the other freeways had those directions.

We've always done the 15 to the 60 to the 57, but I'll have to check out this 210 route...
