Driving to the World!

We've decided to drive instead of fly to Disney in August. It will save us a good bit of money and make the schedule less rigid and stressful. We will be driving from north Louisiana. Can anyone tell me a good driving route to take once we get into Florida? And is navigating through Orlando difficult?

Where in Orlando are you going to first....Disney World or elsewhere?

Disney World first, well, Pop Century to be exact.

OK, Pop Century then. So you'll either enter Florida on I-10 at Pensacola or enter on I-75 at Lake Park/Jennings. You will:

Take I-75 south to Wildwood.
Florida's Turnpike south to the Orlando area. One mainline toll: $2.50
At EXIT# 267A on the Turnpike you'll get onto TOLL 429 south "Tampa". One toll: $1.00
At EXIT#8 on the 429 you'll get off at the Disney World/Hartzog Road exit.
Follow the signs into Disney World via your exit road which is Western Way.
At the first traffic light you're at Buena Vista Drive.
Left on BVD.
Right on Victory Way.
Left on Pop Century Access Road.
Lots of Disney signs to all resorts; hard to get lost.
