I procrastinated and had to get a room off of Disney property. I'll be staying 11 miles north on International Drive. It should be a quick drive for most of it, but I'm concerned about where the traffic begins to slow down. How early would you leave if it was you?

I would leave no later than 4 a.m. I have always stayed off property (not as far a distance as you happen to be) and you don't run into traffic until the parking lot. That gives you time just in case you get lost since the route is a bit different, then to go to the portapotties, check your bag, walk the distance to your corral without making you feel too rushed.

You have to go into EPCOT from World Dr, coming in from Epcot Center Dr (536), the road will be closed for the race. I go down 192 to World Drive and take that to the epcot exit. I live about 1 mile from there, so I am going to leaving around 3:30 just to avoid the traffic that occurs before the race, it got really bad for the race in January, this one has half the runners, but still expect to be backed up.

So it looks like I've got to drive further south and then turn back towards Epcot. After reading the last minute instructions again, it looks like I'll have to head down to exit 64. Is that for World Drive? Or will the exit for 192 be open? Then I could head over to World Drive and back up to Epcot.

Exit 64 is 192, which I believe you go west toward Magic Kingdom, then follow signs to next exit off of 192, should be toward Magic Kingdom, stay that way, don't go toward Hollywood Studios, that brings you directly into that park.

Thanks Dan. Guess I should have booked a hotel on the south side of Disney. Oh well, live and learn. I opted for something decent, but still inexpensive thanks to Expedia. Didn't want what little sleep I will get to be marred by an unpleasant hotel room.
