Driving to FW

How much time should I give myself to drive & park in the front of FW? I've read before it might be better off taking a bus from the resort to MK & then taking the boat over but I am not staying on property.

Also, sorry since this doesn't have much to do w transportation per se but when you take the internal FW bus from the front to the back to eat at TE, are you able to get a good view of camp sites during the holidays to check out the decorations?

No, you will only be able to see a few campsites this way. Most of them are tucked away inside internal loops, not right on the side of the big roads.

The bus ride from end to end is about 12 minutes, and buses run on one of the 3 routes about every 10 minutes. Driving to the parking lot is probably about 15 minutes from most places on property.

The Orange shuttle route will give you the view of the most campsites, but you'll see more by walking through the resort. Walking distance from TE to the parking lot is about a mile by the most direct route. Or you could walk until you reach the cabins, and then bus the rest of the way. They might have trail maps at TE, or you can get one at the small trading post across the path.
