Driving to DL from Vegas

Matt, how wrong you are! ;) You gotta stop at Original Tommy's for a TommyBurger (a chili burger - better than it sounds ).

I've never had a Tommy Burger, but I'll take it into consideration.

In college I interned in Cali for a couple summers and met a :worship: girl who took me to In and Out. :woohoo:

Every time I have been back since I have gone to In and Out, it's a priority for me.

And if you have lived in Nevada, and have experienced deluxe hotel accomodations in Vegas for dirt cheap, then you will feel ripped off if you ever stay at one of the Disney hotels in Anaheim.[/QUOTE]

I have stayed at many hotels in WDW and was RIPPED OFF :lmao:, but I still love the place, and the GC looks the same as the WL in the world.. So maybe I'll get a code - do they do codes DL Hotels??

thanks everybody - U guys are the best

Sure they do, if you get one, is indeed the question.

The DLR hotels are semi teired like WDW where the deluxes get the deepest discounts.

You tend to see someting in DLR like 30%, 25%, and 20% off. GCH, DLH and PPH. Even though there is not a lot of disparity between DLH and PPH though GCH is well above and beyond the other two. I don't want you getting an idea that DLR hotles have a Delux, Moderate, and Value tiering system like WDW. Honestly the values are on harbor dr.

Look at the special offers link under the tickets & packages tab. DLR tends to do ticket only and/or room only deals, because it is package oriented like WDW. Just hope your dates work out.

OK, so stop in Barstow for In N Out Burgers. But unfortunately there will be NO Dunkin Donuts in sight.

There are just a few to be found in Las Vegas Area if you have the craving for it just PM me and I'll hook you up.

In N Out Burgers maybe are like the old Big Boy Burgers but the fries are cut and made fresh. Get the fries "Animal Style".

You'll have a blast in Las Vegas and then onto Anaheim.

Which way . . . I know you all prefer one over the other. :confused3

I -15 South
210 West
57 South

I-15 South

91 West

Help! We leave thurs. at 5:00 pm with a caravan of about 6 cars!

I-15 South
60 West
57 South, to exit 2 (Katella Ave)

The above is how we went 10 days ago.

This how I would go. But about a month ago I-15 South before Ca60 had construction going southbound. Is this done? It compressed traffic down to 2 or 3 lanes.

We alway go 15, 60, to the 57. My brother in law, goes on the 91 and it takes him about 15 to 30 mins longer to get to the hotel, then we do and he drives way over the speed limit.

Just my two cents, but I've done this drive many times, and the 210 is the best route to the 57. The 210 is a fairly new freeway (just a few years old) with more lanes and further north of the city, so less traffic from the locals than the 91 or 60. We always go the 210 to the 57. :thumbsup2 Have a good drive.

I think this is the route we took last time. I am caravaning with 5 other cars.
I am the slow poke of the bunch so I want to know exactly which route I want to take.
We are going to The Girl Scout House on W. Broadway.
Can I get Broadway off the 57?

Do you mean Broadway in Anaheim?

If so I recall that kind of petering out toward CA57 and I had to go a few blocks north to Lincoln Ave, which has exits and onramps, to get to CA57.

To Broadway would be the opposite get off on Lincoln and then south a few blocks to Broadway. Check with a map though this is just how I remember it not a route I do often.

No, Broadway is not an exit off the 57, but you can exit Lincoln and head west, then turn left on State College (or another major north/south street like Harbor), then turn right on Broadway. As the PP stated, check mapquest or google maps, to familiarize yourself, but it's really pretty simple.
