If you drive to Disney, yet stay at a Disney resort, can you leave your car at the resort your entire trip and use the Disney buses to get to the parks and DTD?

Yes, you can. However, if you choose to drive yourself somewhere, parking is free at all parks. The resort will give you a parking pass to put in your windshield. Just leave it there until you leave WDW.

We do this all the time. We drive to Disney because we prefer getting to Disney that way and like how we can bring as much luggage as we want. But we like to let Disney take us around the resort.

yes of course.
we just road tripped it in july and did exactly that.
we find that even if we have a car the disney transportation is more convenient.

if you do end up wanting to drive yourself to the parks parking is free as long as you put the parking pass that you receive at check in on your dash so the CM's see it.

You get free parking at all of the theme parks if you are staying at a Disney resort. You can't, however, park at any other resort except for your own and leave your car there all day long.

Yes and as pp said, parking is free at the parks. We drive down and use a combination of driving to parks and using WDW transportation. IMO driving to the parks is great for when you have a late night planned. You can get back to your resort much quicker than if you have to wait for a bus with the masses at park close.

Yes! Sometimes it may be better to drive to the parks since it's free for resort guests. You save time :)

Thank you all for the replies. For most of our family coming,
the buses are ideal, but one member is in a power wheelchair and not transferable out of it. For him driving their own vehicle (or a rented one if they try flying down) will work way better. I know he could get on the Disney buses, but would probably feel more comfortable going in the car.

I just realized my reply sounds all backwards. I am just thinking aloud and trying to figure what will work best for everyone.
We are coming as a family of 12-15 and not sure who all would want to fly and who drive. Just wanted to make sure we can all use the Disney transportation once we get there.
