Driving through Denver w/Uhaul and car carrier.

I need some advise.

My husband is driving from Oklahoma City to Seattle in a 26 ft u-haul with a car carrier/trailer.

All of the map sites say to go through Denver and Salt Lake City. On the maps, it looks like that route kind of goes right by the mountains, but I have no idea it it will be too much for the truck.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

That would be I-70, right? There are some steep grades, but many trucks drive that route, and I'd think he should be fine, though he should expect to be moving very slowly on the uphills. Just stay to the right except to pass, and use lower gears on the downgrades so as not to overheat his brakes.

But I would contact the U-haul people and ask if the truck has enough power and see what they say.
