WHat is the best time you have made driving straight thru from Central NJ to Disney (without stopping overnight)?

What would be the average time?

We are just 2 adults .. and are probably going to go commando in the car straight to Disney!

we drove a couple of times this past year, once last summer and again in March. We live in central Jersey, the shore area. It usually takes us about 18 hours total time, with our 2 children. We are planning on possibly doing it again in a few weeks. I can't find airfare for later this month when we want to go under $300 p.p., so we are considering driving. It can probably be done quicker, but we have always encountered traffic somewhere! We even encountered terrible traffic around Orlando when returning this March. I know some have made it quicker, but we never seem to have that luck. We only stop for a fast food lunch, then sometimes we will go into a fast food place for dinner.
We don't drive thru the night, but plan on leaving around 4-5:00 a.m. on a Saturday. Just plan on your time avoiding DC traffic.

My husband makes this drive every month. He leaves at 4:00am on a Saturday or Sunday and hits almost no traffic the entire way. Southbound on Sunday is less traffic than Saturday, especailly on holiday weekends.

He's made it from the Branchburg area to just west of Orlando in 16 hours, 17 is closer to the norm.

While we haven't driven in about 3-4 years, getting on 95 from the Ben Franklin Bridge used to take us about 15 1/2 hours if I remember correctly.

Just make sure to leave enough time to get past DC before 7am.

i leave at 3 in the morning from new york and drive straight through with stops at rest areas and naps its not bad driving time you may hit some traffic we do it early in the morning so its a day trip not a night trip we stay awake better that way

we usually leave around 1am we did this once and arrived at 8pm that night
we had our son with us who was 4 at the time
it was fine
