Driving NY to WDW

fro, watertown, you dont have to come near Philly...I would recommend the US 17 route - avoiding Philly, Baltimore and DC.

81 to 66 to 17 to 95.

Have done that from Syracuse before and it works out fine.

This is great when you are new to the area! I'm glad I thought of asking about the routes.............:sunny:

I would fly! Its a whole lot safer and cheaper... but if you plan on driving its ok. I would stay around SC or NC. It really depends on your route. Wish I could help you out.::MickeyMo

Just don't mistake the I-81 etc route as a "country" drive. Scenic it is. But a pleasant drive it isn't.
It certainly does beat going thru the big cities, but you will find tons of trucks along that route, especially on I-81. Believe me--you will NOT have the roads to yourself.
