nope, but I hope you get assistance with this. I am looking for one about 2 hours north of pop. I plan to drive almost the whole way in one afternoon/night. We're going from B-ham, al. next week wooohooo! We're going down I-75.

We are driving down in mid-October with our 4 year old twins. We plan on driving to Savannah, GA, which will be around 4 hours from WDW. It will probably take us around 12 hours to get that far. There are a lot of nice hotels in Savannah, Marriott's, LaQuinta, etc. There is a website for I-95, I'm sure someone will post it. Tell your wife I don't like being up in the air in that "big incubator" either. :rotfl: Linda

We will be coming down from Virginia in November as well. Coming down I95 and planning on stopping either in Hardeeville or somewhere in that vicinity. Good luck. Try this link:

We make the drive from Bham, AL several times a year down I75 and normally stay in the Valdosta area - so Bham driver I hope this helps. We have stayed at the LaQuinta in Valdosta and it is really nice....also has a wonderful hot breakfast bar that is included in the price of the room. There are several other motels at the same exit but right now the names escape me...but it is a nice safe area.

When I planned a trip to WDW, in March of '06, I planned to stop in Brunswick, GA after leaving Toronto the evening before at 5:00pm. We arrived in Brunswick at 1;00 pm the next day. MY family wanted to keep driving to WDW.

I stopped at La Quinta in to cancel our reservation. Hotel and area looked very pleasant and safe. Easy on and off to I-95 and a choice of restaurants. Your drive to WDW the next day will be about 4 hours.

Only thing to think about is depending what day of the week you are traveling you may be driving through Jacksonville during rush hour. I'm sure Jacksonville can not have traffic as bad as NYC.

Here's a link to some accommodations in Brunswick, GA

The SpringHill Suites in Florence SC was very nice. Right off of 95, very easy to get to. Very friendly staff and newer construction. The suite had a living room area w/ sleeper couch, desk, chair and wet bar area w/ microwave/fridge/sink. Bathroom w/ sink area outside of shower/toilet area.
2 beds (queen???) in other area w/ 2nd tv. Lots of space. Paid $94.00 w/ AAA. Going to stay again on our way home from our October Disney trip.
