My HAIR..if you can even call it that. it is not curly or straight it was on single wave and is thin. and is always always always frizzy. it reminds me of a bush somedays its that bad! also i live in north florida and our humidity is crazy! i mean it is dead winter and my hair will be just a frizzy as in middle of july! So what should i do, i am going to go to the salon and get it chemicly straightened or curled (loose curls). which one? and which kind of perm/straightening should i get. where is the best palce to get itdone? and anti frizz suggestions. that would be AWESOME! you just have no idea how sick i am of my hair. sometimes i feel like just shaving it off..but i will not

You could try salon-like products before getting anything more expensive done. There are a million anti-frizz products. Give 'em a shot.

Oh girl, I feel your pain.

My hair is the exact same way if I leave it to fend for itself. It is EXTREMELY curly and if left alone, it will poof out to where I look like someone from the 80's.

If you're going to go to the salon, then I'd suggest you get it straightened and not permed. My mom went to beauty school and has always not allowed my sister or I to get them done because she says that it will fry your hair. So, if your already having a frizzy problem it may just make it worse.

I did get mine chemically straightened a few years ago at this salon. I think they used thermal straightening, but I'm not 100% sure. That helped to control the frizz a LOT and then I just use a flat iron every morning to get rid of any remaining curls.

If you don't want to waste the money every month or so to do that tho (because it can get quite expensive) there is this de-frizzer stuff called frizz ease and that helps. You just put it in after you take a shower and then you can style your hair how ever you want it and it should stay that way and not frizz up anywhere near as much when you go out.

i dont know a lot about perms/chem.straightens, but i would suggest not getting a perm, because i know a few people who have gotten them, and it made it impossible for them to ever straighten their hair(unless you dont ever straighten your hair, then it wouldnt really matter) and when the perm was...wore off i guess, there hair was now naturally frizzy/wavy. thats just some people though.
hope that helped some :]

Even if you get a chemical straightener, you'll still have to straighten or diffuse your hair with a blowdrier every morning. I had one done when I was younger, so trust me.

I'd forget the chemical and invest in a really nice ceramic flat iron (chi, perhaps.) and the anti-frizz serum.

I have really really frizzy curly hair too, and this is the only thing that will make my hair look good.
