Driving LI to Orlando - different route than I95??

Elf... Since it's not actually Easter week then, I would suggest waiting and leaving bright and early Saturday...like 5 am. You will sail through. Traffic shouldn't be an issue at all as around here (LI) most schools don't start off until Holy Thursday and are off until after Passover, so the week after Easter is actually the busier travel week. You should be fine. If you don't want to wait until Saturday and are into driving overnight, then I would say wait and leave around 7 PM Friday after rush hour, you'll do better then than if you left at 1 in the afternoon.
