Driving I-95 on New Years - what to do in NC area?

So due to the incoming snow, DH and I are planning to drive overnight on New Year's Eve to make the trip less stressful for our 2 and 3 year old. We are going to stay in Fayettville and will probably arrive at the hotel about 11 or 12 o clock on New Years Day. Is there anything open in this area?
