While we are on the subject of driving I-95 to WDW, I've decided to start a thread on which exits to get off at and find a cheap gas station quickly.

SInce gas prices vary overall from month to month, and from state to state, please try to include three numbers: (1) of the cheap gas station you filled up at, (2) the rough average of the more expensive gas stations near it, and (3) the rough average of other gas stations in the same state.

Help the rest of us not have to try an exit and find nothing but homes in the suburb, or to try an exit and find only expensive gas stations, or to try an exit and have to drive a couple of miles off to the side before finding anything.

Too late to make this my thread into a poll question but here goes:

Would
Driving I-95 New Jersey Section
Driving I-95 Maryland Section
Driving I-95 Virginia Section
etc.

be better than the existing
Driving I-95 from New Jersey [WDW bound]
Driving I-95 from Maryland
Driving I-95 from Virginia
etc.
?

(I could make another poll question about whether putting the cheap gas station info in each category as opposed to a separate thread!)

I drive a Diesel- so this is a great tool for me, however just because it's a truck stop doesnt mean it's got expensive fuel!...

I plan my drive using this website, the prices are updated VERY regularly, and have actually never found the prices different than what is listed. I believe the state they are current as of 6am on the day you check..

The majority of the stations are very easy off/on from I-95.

another bonus, I have NEVER encountered a dirty bathroom at ANY Flyingn J we've been at, which is a good thing with 2 little DD's that can't 'balance' like the big girls when it's not "safe" to sit...

(I hope this is okay to post here, since it's not an actual what I paid post...)

Another Flying J fan here. Almost the only place we stop if we can. Not only are restrooms clean but we had a great experience when I locked the keys in the car. (Now how could that be great??????) I called Chevy Roadside Assistance and they took HOURS to come unlock the car. During that time, the people at Flyin J were wonderful. They didn't mind us hanging out--even let us into the trucker's lounge so DS could play games and watch tv. Several truckers tried their luck at getting my car open and so did the maintenance staff at Flyin J. They even comped my DS snacks and drinks. They earned my business FOREVER that day.

I drive a Diesal also, and I go to several of the Truckstop websites, and at least with diesal fuel,(gas generally is the same) Exit 104 in VA, Exit 164 in SC and Exit 3 in GA have the cheapest prices on I 95, at least the part I travel.
.

Thanks for the tip on Flying J. I will print out the list of locations for use in future trips.

When I was little I remember a gas station company called Flying A. They were all over the Boston area at least. I am quite sure they were not the cheapest because my folks did not patronize them.
