driving from texas.... stopping point?

We are driving from Texas (Temple area) and are planning on stopping for the night. We are driving with a 2 year old and my in laws and husband. Was wondering what a good stopping spot would be? We have dinner reservations at Trails End at 530 so we'd like to arrive at WDW around 1pm so we can settle before dinner. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

We've stopped in Pensacola in the past. I try to make it to Tallahassee, but never seem to get that far.

I live in the panhandle about an hour east of Pensacola and it is about 6 hours to Disney from here. When I leave around 6am I usually get into WDW around 12:30 or 1. You will lose an hour when you change from CST to EST just west of Tallahassee. I would suggest stopping somewhere between Pensacola & Tallahassee. If you go past Tallahassee there isn't much out there until you get to Lake City.
