Driving from Sanford to POFQ, grocery stop?

We're driving from Sanford to POFQ and want to get some groceries. Mainly milk, bread, PB and J, turkey and cheese, and cereal. We plan to eat in the room and pack sandwiches for the kids etc.

Is there a market on the way or is it better for me to run out after we check in while the kids swim? I know Goodings is nearby but isn't it $$$? I could also do garden grocer, which I have in the past in a house and liked.

I don't need a superwalmart b/c I am not supersizing anything! : ) Is there a Publix near by?

We have stayed in Formosa gardens twice so I am familiar with that area of 192 but have no idea if that is the best place to go from POFQ.

We take Lake Mary to I4 to get to WDW. There is a nice grocery store on the right side of Lake Mary that we always stop at. About half way between the airport and I4.

We never take the toll road so I don't know what is along there.
