Driving from Denver CO

Only 11 days to go!! Just wondering if anyone has ever driven to DL from Denver. If so, what route did you follow and how long did it take you?

Hi we drove from Denver to Vegas the first day then into LA the next day.
We went I 70 to I 15 straight into Vegas. (Enjoy Vegas while there. We loved the COCA COLA store.) This drive took us about 11 hours. The next day when we drove to LA, It was about 5 hours. If it is a sunday it will take longer leave early. AND watch you speed between Vegas and LA. They have airplanes radioing down to officers and they will pull you over and really don't care if they stop traffic or not. The drive once on the other side of Grand Junction is very boring. BEWARE KIDS AND DH GET REALLY CRANKY WITH NOTHING TO DO OR SEE!!!!!! Enjoy your trip. P.S. Be sure and stop in ST. George Utah and fill up with fuel. Return safely!!!!

We drove from Omaha to the four corner area last year.
Going, we drove the northern route to Grand Junction and headed south from there.
Coming home, we went south across CO and up north through Denver.
I think the northern route is easier.
My sister use to drive from Cortez, CO to L.A. all the time. I will ask her what she suggests too. But I may not be able to reply for a couple of days. She was a traveling nurse and boy did she travel! She's been all over western CO, Utah, AZ, CA, NM, TX, etc.
