I too am both excited and nervous about the trip. Under three weeks...but I have so much to do before then and dh isn't a lot of help in these matters and then... all the work and planning. Isn't it horrible of me to feel kinda scared that it will be over soon? I know, I am crazy. The trip starting is a GOOD thing. Not a bad thing..

I am a little nervous about everything because I feel that I am alone in planning what we are going to do and where to stop and what to see and only I care! Damien doesn't want to look at a road map and tell me what he wants to see and neither does K and then Disney Damien has no idea (he wants to ride EVERYTHING) and K says "whatever"! I am going to find him a shirt that says whatever and leave him on the side of the road somewhere is what I am about to do to him! Anyway.... so there is that and then there is everything that is coming up before that and all of those things make me anxious! And now Emily having a place to stay as well-- my in laws are saying no because they will have to walk her in the snow, Connie is now out of the question, my grandfather (who I watch his dog EVERY TIME he goes somewhere) says this dog is too big and K says that he doesn't want her in the kennel! So I am thinking and thinking of things that we can do! Come the end of December I am going to need a vacation all by myself!

I hope you find someplace for Emily...we are still up in the air about the cat. The 2 dogs are outside dogs and my in-laws will be just down the street to feed them and watch after them. The cat is another story...she is getting old and tends to spend more time inside during the winter, only going outside to do her business (I love having no litter box...she was a stray that adopted us). It used to be that she came in VERY little...but she is now spoiled (even going to the cabin with us for Thanksgiving). I hate the thought of boarding her for 2 weeks because she does like to go outside. I am praying for good weather while we are gone and she can stay outside and the inlaws check in on her (she has a cat house on the back deck...the dogs can't get in that area of the yard).

Yeah she can't stay outside because we are NY and she doesn't like being outside to begin with! She's a cozy dog that thinks it's her RIGHT to lay with us on our bed and we should feel PRIVILEGED to have her here-at least that's how she acts! And she gets so mad if someone ignores her or doesn't want to give her all of the attention-- hence the trouble between her and only child for 6years Damien! But I'll find something! If anything I will bring her with us and leave her in a kennel near Disney and then pick her up when we leave, but then she's in the car and that's not far to her or my new car!

Okay I have changed most of my plans and I have created detailed plans for everything, but MK! So these are my new and FINAL days!!!

Arrive- 12/11
We are going to get to Disney around 1-1:30 and check in (rooms will most likely not be ready yet)
I am thinking about going to play some mini golf- I love mini golf!
Then coming back and the rooms should be done so we can shower and freshen up, change then head over to look at decorations at Wilderness lodge. I think that we are going to eat at Roaring forks because it's right there and I would like to go to meet up with a friend at the campfire like planned! Then go to the beach for the electrical parade!
Return back to the hotel room and have a good nights sleep for the next morning!

Animal Kingdom- 12/12
Arrive before rope drop (rope drop is at 8am so arrive around 7:15-7:30)
Get a fastpass for Expedition everest and ride Killamanjaro
Get in line to see the 9:30 Lion King show
Go to Camp minnie mickey (opens at 10am) and spend about a 1/2 hour there- we can see Gi-Tar Dan as we leave.
Head over to flights of wonder for the 11:30 show
Grab something for lunch from Yak and Yeti!
It's tough to be a bug
Get a fastpass for Dinosaur and then head over to Finding Nemo's 1pm showing
Ride EE
Walk through the Jungle trek
Stake out a snack and a spot to watch the parade
Walk through the Pangani Forest trail
If we have time take the train to Rafiki's

DTD/leaving-12/17
We have a 9am breakfast reservation for the Poly's Ohana but I am thinking about cancelling it so that we can be in tour DTD. I think that I am going to leave it open to if we tour DTD on Monday then we will keep the reservation and come back after eating to check out. If we don't see DTD I think that we will check out and head over there, come back and then leave.


Okay so any comments/suggestions on these? I tried to go by he Steve Soares time guide for everything and I did time the rides and shows and stuff so I am hoping that it works out that way. There are places where I did try to leave enough room for off track things! For the most part there is only 1 day (animal kingdom) that the crowd calender is telling me not to go to that park, but it's the only time I can fit it in and my son's a big animal lover!

I have had to redo all my touring plans... Just days ago I put together that spreadsheet of where we would all be. Now I wonder if it hasnt all just changed with the hours change.

BTW... a very special package arrived today. You are too sweet!!! Zoe was very excited... and... even Alex... he made a very distinct face that means he is trying to hold back his excitement. (you know..too cool for all that since he is a teen ) Thank you so much. I count you among my blessings for 2011!

I am SO SO sorry!!! I honestly did think that the guy got the turkey dressed instead of the baby and was burning the food because who would think of a turkey in the microwave? I am really sorry again for that I am not that dark or sick!

Are there a lot of park hour changes? I did switch my DHS with my Ak day and that's all of the changes I made, but I am still confused about when the story tellers are because I have seen more than one sight give only Friday and Saturday times- unless they go on during the week as well, but not on a schedule

I hope that they both liked it! My BIL and Dh got a kick out of the shirt so I figured he would! And Zoe now has something from NY- not just Disney! I forgot to put the letter in though! You can just use permanent markers for her to draw and color on the wallet! You made my little one happy with his gift as well so I am really glad that I could do that too!

This week I am going to be posting lots of pictures! So that means that I must get everything together and packed when I post it! Lots to do and only 12 more days to do it! And I told my in laws and my grandfather that on the 8th- Damien's real birthday they can come over and celebrate and I will tell him that night that we are going to Disney, otherwise I am going to be cleaning up my house and then leaving for the vacation! This way I can be leisurely on Friday and not worry about packing the car AND entertaining people! Dh can just come home on Friday and take a shower after eating then we can hit the road with fresh PJ's and everything- hopefully we will be getting out of here a little earlier too, maybe 8-8:30pm! And does anyone remember the car I talked about for my DH's promotion? I should be picking that up this week sometime too!

Okay so this week I must get these things done-

~Take pictures of the state gifts and then pack them up
~Iron on the T-shirts and take pictures, then pack them up
~Do a super clean on the house (once this week and once next week)
~Get laundry done-including bed sheets (once this week and once next week)
~Figure out the pants that we are taking and make sure I throw in a couple pairs of shorts/capris as well
~Finish up the trip journal (tape/glue the pages in) and get pictures of that up
~Take pictures of Damien's trip journal and show his teacher for credit approval
~Finish wrapping up the Christmas gifts
~Find a way to wrap up the sweaters and water bottles for a hotel gift
~Schedule a groomers appt. for Emily for the 7th!!!
~Get everything over to my mother in laws on the 8th (including Emily)
~Start to pack up the car!
~Get to BJ's for instant oatmeal, breakfast bars, car drinks, car snacks
~Pick up anything that I don't already have!

Okay so this week I must get these things done-

~Take pictures of the state gifts and then pack them up
~Iron on the T-shirts and take pictures, then pack them up
~Do a super clean on the house (once this week and once next week)
~Get laundry done-including bed sheets (once this week and once next week)
~Figure out the pants that we are taking and make sure I throw in a couple pairs of shorts/capris as well
~Finish up the trip journal (tape/glue the pages in) and get pictures of that up
~Take pictures of Damien's trip journal and show his teacher for credit approval
~Finish wrapping up the Christmas gifts
~Find a way to wrap up the sweaters and water bottles for a hotel gift
~Schedule a groomers appt. for Emily for the 7th!!!
~Get everything over to my mother in laws on the 8th (including Emily)
~Start to pack up the car!
~Get to BJ's for instant oatmeal, breakfast bars, car drinks, car snacks
~Pick up anything that I don't already have!

Whew...busy week! I am tired just reading it all! So excited for you with a new camera and car! WAHOO!

It's just really bad now that I see it! It's on photobucket (not mine) if you do a quick search and I tried to change everyone's before they saw it... but Ann was too quick for me!

I'm scared and excited all at once! I keep having Disney nightmares where I forget everything at home and have no idea what's next to do! I had one where someone shipped Emily to me at Disney and they found out and kicked us out-- it's crazy!
