Hello all,
I will be driving down in a few weeks and I have an ePass for Tolls. I am curious if anyone else has used ePass on the Atlanta express lanes and did the express lanes save you any time?

This really depends on what time and which interstate you are going through Atlanta on. On the outskirts, there are some (on on I75 south of the city and I75 north of the city) reversible express lanes so they could be heading the wrong direction when you come through. Inside the ‘perimeter’ (inside I 285), there really only HOV lanes- so no tolls. I85 on the north side has dedicated lanes in each direction. The express lanes price varies depending on demand/traffic and is not one set toll amount each day.

The toll lanes seem to be a good option when traffic is heavy and they are going the way you need them to. In the end, If you have the e pass you can make that call while you’re getting closer to the Atlanta area. We live in the Atlanta area and actually have the SunPass, lol, but will jump into the express lanes as needed.
