Driving distance from Atlanta to HH

Does anybody know how long of a drive it would be from the Atlanta airport to HH? I can fly into Savanah for $270 minimum or Atlanta for $120! Thanks!

It's about 300 miles; usually takes us about 5 hours if traffic is good (Atlanta can have AWFUL traffic!!). It's probably a little bit shorter from the airport. If you were going to rent a car in Savannah anyhow (pretty much a necessity on HH), it sounds to me like it might be worth it.

It's not a bad drive --interstate all the way -- but it's a pretty desolate one.

We travelled from HH to OKW a couple of years ago and it took approx. 5 1/2 - 6 hrs to get there. Traffic as stated before can be your worse enemy especially from the Atlanta area (where our son lives).

We made it from Marietta GA to HH in less than 5 1/4 hours with a stop to eat. If you go when there isn't traffic, it's not a big deal... During rush hour, well, don't go there. From Savannah, it was less than 45 minutes, I think.

We're going home during Spring Break 2003. Just for a few days... It will be our 3rd time. Once in Nov. (and bought DVC), once in June (hotter than...), now in April...
