Driving directions to Epcot & AK?

We will have our own car. What is the best routes from Coronado Springs to Epcot; and Coronado Springs to AK?

Seriously? Is it that easy?! I thought maybe the directions would be a little different if you drive yourself vs shuttle to the parks.

Yes, plenty of purple and red signs to help on property. We've never had any problem at all.

We like to be in control of our own schedule. We did this last year when we went to MK for 1 day and found it worked out great! And it was nice to be on our own time schedule when going to dinners are other resorts.

We drive around WDW on all our trips and it's super easy and quick. Everything is extremely well signed. I wouldn't rely on google maps because it sometimes directs you to service roads that aren't accessible by the public. We stayed at CSR 2 years ago and it was one of the easiest to drive to the parks from because it's really centrally located. DHS is really close, 5 minutes tops. EP and AK are about 10 and MK is maybe 15 at the most.

My tip is to download/print a resort level map, especially if you have never been to WDW before and just familiarize yourself with the general layout so when you are seeing signs for certain resorts, you'll know which park you are closest to, for example. Other tip is if you miss a turn, don't panic just keep going and take the next turn, there will be more signs to direct you back to where you want to go.

CSR is close to both parks, and the directions are very simple:

For Epcot, turn left out of CSR, then turn left again at the 2nd light (the 1st left turn you can make), then keep right into Epcot.

For AK, turn right out of CSR, then turn right again at the 3rd light (if I'm counting right), and keep right into AK.

Now that you have your own car & are going to A.K. why not go and drive the short distance from A.K. ONTO Hwy 192

at Shearberth Rd. & see all the other Eating Places that are on the west side of 192 heading towards Hwy 27
