Can any fellow S. Floridians tell me about how long of a drive it would be?? And will it be the best to just take I-95 all the way??

I do not know what part of South Florida you are from, but yes I-95 is the best way to come - there are signs directing you to Cape Canavera and the port - you have 3 exits to Brevard County - the first one is to 520 - second is to 524 and the third is the one, which is 528, that you will take - it is about 20 miles from the time you get off until you will see the port AFTER passing Merritt Island on Highway 528.
If you run into any problems, you are most welcomed to call the shop at 800-950-4559.

I come from southwest Florida in Naples and when we go we take Alligator Alley over to the east coast, then cut up on the Florida Turnpike and finally get onto I-95. It takes us about 1 hour to get across the alley and then about 3 hours once we're on the otherside, which is about at Fort Lauderdale. In January we met my parents at the Fort Lauderdale airport for lunch (they happened to be flying in that same day) and then took I-95 up. It's an easy and fairly quick drive. Just follow the directions that Shirley was kind enough to post for the exit off I-95.

Don't know exactly where you are coming from in South Florida; but I agree I-95 is the best way. It's about 1 hr 45 min from northern Martin County if that helps.

Thanks for everyone's replys. We will be driving up from around the Ft. Lauderdale area so I guess I95 would be the best?!

THANKS again!
