How much longer do you think my trip will be by driving back hom to LI, NY on 7/4 @ 2:00pm and driving straight thru the night.

Need to be back home Sun night. Must be at work Mon @ 6:30am.

How much traffic will the be due the holiday weekend?

Any advise?

The first question is where will you be when the local fireworks let out? The fourth is a Saturday so my first main concern would be getting out of Orlando. I-4 and Rt. 95 will be crowded and a little slow but I wouldn’t think that it would be awful. After you get out of Georgia, things should speed up. For the fireworks question – how far will you get by 10 pm? That’s eight hours of driving – with stops you’ll probably have covered 450 miles. You’ll be just south of South of the Border. All you’ll have to content will is the Dillon, SC celebration ending (do they have a celebration there?). From there it’s all nighttime driving and it should be easy assuming you have rested drivers. I would think that you would have no trouble arriving home early Sunday morning.
