drive time on weekend in July

Ok... trying to minimize time in traffic---when (time of day) would it be the easiest to drive from Venice Beach area to Anaheim on a Saturday or Sunday in July? I am going to plan our PLANS around this.

Ok... trying to minimize time in traffic---when (time of day) would it be the easiest to drive from Venice Beach area to Anaheim on a Saturday or Sunday in July? I am going to plan our PLANS around this.

The traffic tends to be bad in the morning heading to Venice and in the afternoon heading away from Venice. So if you drive from Venice to Anaheim in the morning (8am to 10am) you will minimize your time in traffic. Leave between 1PM and 3Pm will minimize time in traffic by a little.

Frankly, the difference between little traffic and crazy traffic would be 15/20 minutes longer for the total trip.
