From picking your car up at the airport and driving onto WDW property, you're looking at just over an hour (and that's if things are clear). Some agree the the toll way is best while others like to hit I4. To be sure, put the addresses into www.mapquest.com and that will give you a clearer idea.
Bear in mind any likely delays for immigration, baggage, at the car hire place....I'd give yourself a good 2 to 2 and a half hours from 'expected' touchdown to expect to be in a position to hit a ps. Only my opinion though.
It can really be hit and miss at sanford, our first year we were out and in the car in under an hour.this last trip it was total of over 2 hour's before we even got into the car. Then you have your drive down to wdw on top.
According to the Sanford Airport site it claims 35 minutes but I suspect after 35 mins you'd be lucky to be even at the top end of I-Drive on I4.
I have this problem as well when we arrive - I was hoping to do Cirque the first night as it is the only night in our two weeks when it is on but I've decided against it. We're just going hit Downtown Disney and check out stuff their. There is problem in making the ps of course (as long as there is no cancellation policy). Where is it for out of interest?
Gosh haven't figured that out yet, just wanted to get a feel for estimated time of arrival, and have only been through MCO before. Our trip is not till next year, but I always feel the need for forward planning. Thanks for your replies,
Claire
